My 10 gal
Still kinda' new to all this. This is my tank when I started it out:
![]() Added DIY CO2 and some new plants, along with a new filter. The internal one was taking up too much space. The wisteria is growing out of control already... The amazon sword wilted to death so I replaced it with a twirly sword plant thingy. The moss ball kept on getting sucked up into my gravel vac, then splashing back into the tank, so I took it out for now. ![]() I'm waiting for the dwarf hair grass to spread before adding two goldfish. |

i read about that. no choice really, they need a new home. when they get bigger I'm going to transfer them to a bigger tank. Lookin' to get a rimless tank and canister filter and all that jazz later on after I'm more experienced.

Why is it no choice? I agree with everything mike said. I think goldfish in this tank could be a disaster. Just a heads up I wouldn't put plants in there with goldfish.

If you are going to keep those goldfish make another tank if you like what you have in the ten. A 20 long with large gravel so they can't choke on will hold them for a year or two. I had to find a pond to put the one I had in it got too big too fast

they're still really small right now so i dont forsee any major problems in the 10g. Their poop should fert the plants and i got double filtration power and an airstone for oxygen. It should be a suitable home until i upgrade the tank. |
