What is the ideal tank size to keep BKK ? I'm currently cycling a 6 gal nano and was wondering if this would be a good size for them to breed on?

The only thing is that of course, in smaller tanks, some substances (like bad ones) can have a greater effect. Definitely cycle for awhile, then maybe try CRS first to test it out, since BKK's are so expensive.

I've been having some CRS SSS on a 9 gal for about 10 months no problem. Breeding slowly I have a steady colony going !!

For BKK I like no less than 10-15g you need stable water conditions, in nanos it can swing easy

Im using a 4 gallon currently but its been cycled a long time ago and used to house OEBT.....now CBS + ruby red + WR. The Ruby is now berried. You just have to make sure there aren't swings in parameters or temperature.

Rumors have it that Petco $1 per gallon sale is coming. Can't beat $20 for a 20G Long
