I am trying to find someone that will mix a trace mineral mix that is high in iron and low in copper. But I need to know if there is still any interest in such a mix due to the amount of Plantex CSM I have sent out. Right now I have no idea of price or anything else. But I do need to know if the interest is there.

I have been using Flourish Trace to provide trace minerals. I am not sure it is doing the trick. I would be interested in something that would take it's place.
BTW Rex, a while ago you gave me a fertilizing regime. If I may ask a question? How much Seachem Potassium would equal 1/2 teaspoon of KNO3, and how much Seachem Nitrogen will get me to 1 teaspoon of K2SO4? I am beginning to realize I better get in on your offers from now on! Thanks once again Mike

Flourish Trace is tap water. I have no doubt it is not meeting your trace mineral needs. And you have your question somewhat reversed. A 1/2 teaspoon of K2SO4 provides 35 ppm of potassium in 10 gallons of water, you would have to use 35 ml of Seachem potassium to get the same amount. There is potassium in KNO3 and 1 teaspoon of KNO3 will provide 57 ppm in 10 gallons of water. It will also provide 90 ppm of NO3. I have never used the Seachem nitrogen but I'm betting you would have to use a bunch of Seachem to get the same level of NO3.

I've been using the Plantex CSM you sent me in sparing amounts because of the boron and copper proportions. I'd be interested in a mix as you described, higher in iron and less in other heavy metals, as long as the price was comporable to the Plantex.

Well I received an answer from the company. They would be more than happy to do a custom mix for us. The only problem is that the minimum order is 900 lbs.

Hmm.... the shipping might not be that bad. But the $6100+ cost of the ferts sure would.

900 lbs?!?! lol...! Hmmm, I'll stick with plantex, but I'd be interested in it if you can ever get a smaller amount...

I'm going to check around and see if I can't find a more accommodating supplier.
