The x5 Aponogeton Natans on order will be spread along the back from left to right up to the x5 Vallisneria gigantea var. rubra which will sit in the right corner to catch the flow of the return and once it grows push it along the tank right to left.

I may also put a couple of nymphaea Rubra in with the Aponogeton Natans as it will send the shoots up above it.

I am also planning on using Echinodorous Tenellus as a carpet for in front of the rocks in the dirty section.

A moss grazing area, maybe Java on the top of the flat rock on the right and the flat top of the main rock.

Maybe Anubias nana var. 'Petite' on the far left rock, also working on a design for a Java or other moss tree that will be connected to the main rock.

Possibly a couple of Aponogeton Ulvaceus also.

A few plans in progress but that is how far my plant plans have got so far but working on it

Ok, been a quiet few days but a few things happening.

Got the Aponogeton Natans & Vallisneria gigantea var. rubra in the tank, had to cut down the Vallis to only about 4" as was quite poor condition.

The growth on the Aponogeton Natans in amazing! over 1" of growth in less than 12hrs from one of the bulbs!

I have on order,
Glossostigma Elatinoides for the carpet
Nymphaea rubra red
Phyllanthus Fluitans

Decided to take it slow with the big tank and when I got a list together for the plants I want the cost was bloody expensive lol

In the mean time I will be setting up a 10g shrimp tank for which I have on order the filter and lighting. I will be using a 3x8w T5 unit suspended above it.

Pictures to follow.

Nothing much changed from the last pic, this was a 4sec exposure that is the reason for the smooth surface.

Ok, been thinking about it for a couple of days and decided to do it. I have added another divider into the sump so it is now 4 sections and better water flow.

Dodgy drawing lol

The Phyllanthus Fluitans has been added. Should have the Glossostigma Elatinoides tomorrow and the Nymphaea rubra at some point in the week.

Got the Glossostigma Elatinoides but turns out I only ordered enough to do half the space I want to do so will have to order some more, also got the two Nymphaea Rubra bulbs put in. Also got a bit of Elocharis acicularis planted to see how that goes.

Got the lights and filter for the shrimp tank today also, all it needs now is substrate and a black background which I will have Friday or Saturday and it is ready to cycle. I will use some alfagrog from the sump on the main tank to kick start the cycle.

Both out take pipes will be surrounded with sponge to stop it sucking up the shrimp, both tanks starting to get somewhere now.
