Just another update/opinion:

Went to Pets on Broadway last week. They don't have a huge selection of fish and plants, but what they do have is very healthy and reasonably priced.

As for their hardscape and supplies, they have a lot of things like slate that I haven't seen elsewhere in local tropical fish stores. Prices were better than any of the other LFS or national chains, comparable to Amazon.com. I didn't see anything related to CO2 injection systems, not that I was looking for it. I'd recommend going to one of the local homebrew shops for that anyway.

The service was excellent, which is in stark contrast to my experience at the previously mentioned Local Fish Stores. It took me all of three minutes to get my fish and get them on their way to their new home.

Seth, I've been hunting for rock at landscape places... let them know what you're doing... I'm sure you can convince a worker at the nursery that you don't need a yard of rock. Who knows... you might walk out with some free stones. I did...

There is a rock place next to Wichita feed and hardware on SE Johnson Creek blvd. They sell wholesale and retail so you don't have to buy bulk.

Awesome I will check it out. I live a block away from the place on 70th and foster but they said only by the yard

They had some lace rock at the place on Johnson creek, It's where cayes and other stores buy their rock. I know most of the pet stores buy their wood from a guy down in california, he makes a trip up here every month or so. I used to buy from him and shot him an e-mail to see if I could still get hooked up. I've been told Family Pet on 122nd and Glisan has a good supply of wood, but I haven't checked it out.
