Hello there Fish Gurus!

I am new in this forum and new with a tank. I actually just got a 10 gallon tank this week. I hope to get it ready to welcome my plants and fish. I know it is going to be a long process even with a low tech tank but I hope to get some advice along this journey

Hey sheila! you can also buy plants from the good local ppl. If you are looking for equipment and whatever, someone might have that too ^_^

Welcome! You've come to the right place, that's for sure. This is a great community with knowledgable and helpful members. And being in New York is an added bonus because a few members organize swap meets so we can get together to trade stuff and hang out.

lol. I have actually been to one of the meets and that's when I started thinking about FISH FISH FISH FISH!!!! I am pretty excited, I didn't really have time over the week to set up the tank properly, but I did get a filter and added some substrate. It's been two days since the filter has been working. I am going to test a couple of plants this weekend.
