Not really a business... But you could say at this point i'm more of an aqua grower than an aquascaper...unfortunately.

I mainly grow just in my 20 show tank... So I am able to sell what I grow... So I'm happy enough. I'm kind of trying to increase capacity...but I'm more of a hobbiest than a seller.

So why dont you set aside another tank to do some aqua scaping in? Or maybe use the money from the plants to get a small 10 gal from walmart only like 14$. im sure you thought of that lol. Hey when are you gonna have more java fern? my next pay day im gonna pick up some Pogostemon from you. I figure thats a easy next step from Anacharis. Im a noob.

Well...I dont want to spend more on more equipment; lights, co2, substrate, etc. I have limited space to set up tanks. I might have some java fern I could sell...text me when you know what you want. I will try to keep your request in mind when I gathering the plants together to sell and try to reserve for you.

I'm somewhat limited in what I have available at any certain time, so letting me know early will help in reserving for you when it's ready. =)

I wasn't interested to begin with, but thanks all the same. I'm just giving you a heads up on some of the rules of this forum, since you seem to be new They aren't my rules, but it's so threads are focussed on the hobby, not on the promotion of commercial ventures.

Like I said though, I know for sure the swap and shop section has those rules in place, and they may not officially apply to subforums like this. All that aside, i feel that it's only right to keep these guidelines in mind through the entire forum, as the whole philosophy of this site is be primarily a place to discuss and learn, rather than to sell and buy.

But hey, i'm not your mom. So if I come across a bit snippy, i apologize. Anyway, welcome.

Yeah...thanks for the swap yamaz.

I've been having trouble getting my plants to turn more red. Did you know what things I could do to increase the color? I'm trying different things, but doesn't seem to be working.

- Increase light intensity
- Increase co2
- Increase phosphate

Nothing yet has seemed to really work well.

Try using a fertilizer that has iron supplements. Also try increasing your lighting, plants turn red primarily to shield themselves from high intensity light.
