potassium liquid fertilizers
need the brand names of fertilizers that contain potassium.im having problems finding some, not flourish potassium. i cant find that anywhere where i live, thanks for any help u can give me

I think Kent makes some. Otherwise go to the grocery store and buy a small bag of No Salt brand salt substitute (or any comparable brand), which should only contain Potassium Chloride.

ok thanks for you help, i was in a hurry and to be honest if i go your rout i know ill mess things up and put too much or too little in. so i went and got me some Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Leaf Zone Aquarium Fertilizer that has potassium and other stuff in it, i dont know how good this stuff is but it'll have to do for now.ill keep your post so i can refer to it next time i need more

I mix up my own solutions using either KCl or K2SO4. Using Chuck Gadd's calculator, mixing 76g of KCl in 1000ml of H2O creates a solution where 1ml raises 10g of water 1ppm. The amount of K2SO4 needed to create an equivalent solution is 85g/1000ml H2O.
The nice about mixing your own is that it's cheaper and you also know the the concentration of the solutions. With commercal ferts you dose based on the manufacturers recommendation, but rarely will that tell you how many ppm you're actually adding.

Go to www.hydroponics.com and buy some Potassium Sulfate. Then use Chuck Gadd's calculator to figure out the dosing. Or ask here.
