itchy finger 55g

I got the tank bug and is starting a 2nd tank. 55G

Substrate: MTS and fluval stratum to top it off.

filter: eheim 1715

In the process of mineralizing the topsoil.

1# Two buckets of dirt I scoop from the backyard.

2# Screening out the first batch of medium rocks and anything else that doesnt fit the screening tray.

3# result

4# The 2nd screen is a little bit smaller.

its good to see someone actually following the steps to a "T". so many just throw the soil in and then wonder why their tanks crash.

good start. good luck

I read somewhere on this forum that Lowes will bend your pipe if you ask them apparently not this one, "We don't bend your pipe you need to buy the bender." It seem they don't cut your gutter to size either. sigh
