Substrate help

I have a 20g, I need substrate for a planted tank, what is the difference between that Fluval stuff or the fluorite? Also how many lbs would I need, would a 16lb be enough and if so should I mix it with some regular gravel or just get rid of the old gravel altogether ?

A 16 lbs would probably be enough. And here's the link of pros and cons of the different substrates.
