"I don't know what I'm doing riparium"

LOL, that's me. I'm making plant hangers out of plastic bottles. Super DIY, seems to be working somewhat:

Here is mine: 15G Riparium

Default Lighting ideas

so im still digging through some lighting and I found the beamworks double bright clip leds, and the single brights. the set up is 30 x 12 x 18 and im thinking two clip lights? 3 would be nice but i dont want them to touch, then it would just look cluttered. what do you all think? theres only one light review and the wats seem to be good enough for the double brights but the single looks pretty good as well. Any reviews of these?

hmmmm!

back to work for now :P *paint paint paint*

whoaaaa late updates.

so i snagged these pictures of my tank from a while back but after more moving and some tank issues the whole thing got rescaped.

the last setup had an okay filter, but i switched for a Marineland H.O.T. Magnum 250 Canister Filter, lights and all still the same though! some smaller Australian rainbows after the mysterious fish-olocaust of neons and my hatchets.

it took a few nice pictures but it looks totally different... soon ill get more pictures though!

But right now im dealing with the wait for things to fill in heh, bleh!

also took the little mutt out for some plant hunting, and fishing, even caught our dinner!

(almost forgot the frumpy victory fishing photo, we can all thank the boyfriend for the super awkward nature of the whole thing)

shwew! tank updates :P its always way too long! I finally splurged and got an aquatech co2 setup and looove it!

Trying out some new plants I am apparently pretty good at growing ludwigia but i want to get something fancy for the rest of the tank, maybe some smaller crypts to add some more texture and color?

I guess my question too is, Should I get a second Ray 2? the plants seem to do a LOT better the closer to the light they get, the ludwigia gets much fuller and some of the plants are struggling a tad down below so... thoughts? Im wondering too if this is why some of the plants just arnt as red as they could be. booo!

thanks for looking!

there is some frogbit that gets tiger stripes as it gets light exposure, but at the time i was thinking more along the lines of redroot floaters. I didnt know enough about plant names then :P
