Lights On/Off Time of the day

Hi All,

I was wondering if time of the day matters when you turn on/off your lights.

My lights switch on at about 1145hrs and switch off at 2200hrs, it is adequate time in number of hours I think but I still wonder if the time lights come on v/s off matter.

The reason for me saying this is while observing my stem plants the tend to close/fold/shut off at about 2030hrs, which gives me the indication that perhaps it is bed time by then in the plant world . In the morning they open before the lights are on, later on if the room is very dark.

What do you guys think?
