Creeping/Vine emergent plants?

I'm looking for a plant that is both creeping and emergent, any ideas? Thanks.

Brazilian Pennywort isn't a ground cover in the aquarium but creeps out of the tank instead of growing upright. Is that what you want?

I would imagine Creeping Jenny aka moneywort would creep emergent as that is how it grows in the garden and is a mid ground plant in the aquarium.

I have a large piece of wood in a bowl and I wanted something that would creep up the wood and out the top of the bowl.

hydracoyle works well, and +1 for pennywort also..if you are using a log, then why not use java fern?? It grows in a emersed setup and will stick to the wood..I have some outside and it grows pretty quickly for java..

I can't get my creeping jenny to grow down on the ground. Instead it grows towards the light. It does that in both my high light emersed and low light emersed. I wonder if I have a different variety?

I was just going for a certain look. I'm not finding anything though so I may have to change plans.

If you're wanting to attach something to wood, why not java moss? Mine grows great like that, creeping out of the water.
