Rocks...?
So I'm in the process of thinking about how I want to set up my tank and I know that I would like to incorporate some rocks into the tank....a 20 gallon long.
Where in the Orlando/UCF area can I find rocks suitable for an aquascape? I checked both craft stores in Waterford and neither had anything nor did Home Depot and the last time I was in PetSmart, they had some decent ones but too small. Anyone know where I can find them in the area?...either literally "find" them, or buy them or something. |

You should look for a landscaping supply company. They're likely to have plenty of rocks that are useful as far as look goes. But if you're ever around Tampa

Well I go to UCF but live on Marco Island, so I make the drive through FL every so often and will be making it in a week to head home for about 8 weeks. I'll see if I can check it out. It just pains me to actually be paying $$$ for rocks lol. Especially since the kind of rocks I'm looking for (and that look good in an aquascape) are everywhere up in PA where my grandparents live..

http://www.pebblejunction.com/products.htm shows pictures of their rocks. From what i've seen they have varying sizes of most. Probably some rocks they don't show as well.
If your looking for igwami looking stones it might be hit or miss... |

Yea I'm looking for an Iwagumi style rock. Hmm, I might be able to stop in when I drive home next weekend though. I suppose if it's not too far of a detour, it's worth a shot.
