Next Swap?

Does anyone know when the next Chicago/local swap will be? I upgraded to a bigger tank and itching to add a few unique colored Endlers and or guppies.
I attended the GCCA swap back in the late April but I was just getting into the hobby and did not have tank fully setup. However, the swap was great. I hated that I was not ready as there were some awsome looking fish, plants and great deals.
So when can I anticipate the next swap? I'm ready......

GCCA doesn't do swaps durning th summers months because of the heat. They usally start back up around September or October. I can't remember which one for sure.

Also the one right after the summer is usually pretty big as well.

It would be nice if they would post the dates in order to plan.

+1 to this. I've been eyeing their website at least weekly for any updates...

I also tried e-mailing them but haven't heard back from them yet and it's been a week...

Hi fellow windy city folk!

Um, the clubs - greenwater and cichild and many others are all volunteer. Become a member and you can help with planning and answering questions and set up and so much more! Not trying to be snarky or "bad" word just reminding all of us that it is volunteers with jobs and families and tanks and well a life with not enough time. I am NOT a ? working? usefull? member of the aquatic clubs but have done the things for other clubs, which is why I say if you see need step in if you can, if you can't like most of us then what besides contributing finacially at least? Remember "they" are us - folks who enjoy & want to share knowledge about tanks. But totally agree wish "we" had a bit more info without having to go to meetings. I was soooo disappointed that the auction was down in alsip. I am really gonna attend a meeting again one of these months. really I am.

If you want endlers is it ok to say I have some here? I am overun? overswum? with them would love to share as my axlotl is already well fed and husband is STILL balking at diggin me a pond so am overflowing to patio tubs. Have gups and shrimps to spare as well - you know gups & endlers will interbreed right?

Kat
