Need help figuring out how to use Osmocote+

I just ordered a bag of Turface Pro League and am really excited to get it into the tank when it arrives! I have read in several different posts that it works well with Osmocote + underneath it. How do I figure out how much to place in the tank? What form is best?

Thanks!

Basically you only want to put 5-7 pellets of Osmocote + per square foot of tank space depending on your tank size, now whether you go the ice cube route of putting the pellets into each ice cube spot in an ice cube tray and then freeze it, or you go the same route as me which is using empty capsules containing 7 of the O+ pellets mixed with dry ferts (csm+b, dolomite ca/mg, etc..).

Then you just bury them into the substrate, I usually go about 1"-1.5" deep with my capsules. But every foot of tank space I go with placing each capsule caddy-corner from the previous one for every foot.
