Small Neon tetra + peppered Corries babies Question
I have some 1/2 in to 3/4 inch neon tetras in a 10 gallon and I was wondering if it would be okay if I put my peppered corry babies in with them ( like 0-4 weeks old) Or well they be eaten.
Also will that size neon be eaten by a fully grown black skirted tetra? or a 3-4 inch clown loach? |

If the cories are over about 1/8 of an inch long, they'll be fine. Neons have tiny mouths. I'd not keep neons with clown loaches, as the latter can get big enough (12-14 inches) to eat fully grown adult formers. I'd make sure they are at least above 3/4 of an inch long before putting them in with skirts. You should also get more skirts, if you only have one. It's hard to beat a big school of those boys.

Okay thanks!
I have a 5 black skirts. Should I get more? The clown loaches were an stupid buy mainly to get rid of the snail population I have. As I don't have a big enough tank i've been trying to decide how to get ride of them. (either trading into a store or giving them to a person) |
