Quarantine tank on newly bought fishes
Would it be alright to quarantine newly bought fish from LFS, under treatment with both internal and external medications whether they are healthy or not or show any signs of sickness?
Will there be a downside, backfire something like that affecting the healthy fish in a quarantine tank?

many practice quarantine tanks... i recommend doing it..
I personally dont because i keep mostly just angels and bolivian rams and my LFS is highly reputable and they have great water conditions for their fish..

It is good practice to quarantine all new fish. If the fish had any chance of being exposed to disease, it's a good idea to quarantine and treat for specific diseases. That being said, some medication is extremely hard on fish and some fish are very sensitive to medication. Do your best to know what specific illness you need to treat and don't over medicate.

I quarantine all new fish. The only meds I use is that I de-worm any live bearers I buy, because they are notorious for having internal parasites. Other than that I don't medicate unless I see a specific problem.
