7 lbs co2 tank of ebay. odd size. any good?
They are selling some 7 lbs tanks which are odd size for 40$ on eBay. A quick search and you will see who am I referring to. Anyhow, did anyone here bought one? Any thoughts on it in general?

One issue is that you will likely have to get it filled rather than exchange. I like exchanging since I started with an old steel tank to begin with because it only takes about 5 minutes including payment. There are more places around me that exchange than fill, or you may have to drop off and pick up at the same place that exchanges if you want it filled.

I would find the refilling to be a pain but that depends on where/how you operate. Also keep in mind that the tank will need to be recertified in a few years and that may lead to questions on odd size tanks.

They are $25.95 here.
http://www.bvrgelements.com/product/...itioned-Steel/ Call your refill place before ordering. Some of the swap places will swap these for a standard 5lb. tank which may make more sense later. |
