Found a secret jackpot

I was traveling with my fiance to Lincoln City from Corvallis and we passed this little spot on the highway between Corvallis and Newport. Heading to Newport, it is on the right side of the road and it is this wood-furniture business. It is just a one man operation, but he has soooo much wood. Huge piles of all sorts of wood just perfect for aquariums, manzanita too.

The best part is he sells it for dirt cheap. I got a huge piece of manzanita with some additional pieces for only twenty bucks. I'm sure it could have been cheaper but when he first threw out an offer of twenty I was fairly shocked and just went with it. On top of all the raw pieces perfect for the aquarium, this guy makes some of the best wood furniture I have seen in my life. That stuff its obviously not cheap, but man is it amazing!! I didn't even explore his whole collection as he has multiple sheds full.

If you want some good pieces make a trip out here. It is about midpoint between Newport and Corvallis.

Oooh, next time I'm headed to the coast, I'll have to swing by! What an excellent find!

US-West, I believe. It is the direct route between Corvallis and Newport. The last time I drove past he had a for sale sign, but the place certainly didn't look like it was going anywhere. You have to keep an eye out for it as the sign is just a little home made one about two or three feet tall. It says something about wood furniture. Going west, it is on the right hand side.
