first venture into pressurized C02

ok so thinking of getting into c02. been looking at all the GLA goodies.

was cruising around the internet and this guy. just wondering how it stacks up to the GLA model with the ph controller.
Deluxe Planted Tank CO2 Package - AquaCave.com

also with the GLA choice system what else would be required to get running.

BTW this will be going on my 120G

I don't like ph controllers o.0 not needed just my two cents, if you're going to purchase a ready system the best bang for the money is aquatek, same quality IMO, I've seen both first hand and like neither but the aquatek is just cheaper for the same stuff, if you're into doing stuff yourself you could save over $100 and make a better rig. There is a sticky in this forum that can give you every last bit of info you need to do this too including links to all the items besides the regulator body

It works perfect for the application, I couldn't argue with the price if I wanted a prebuilt system however I like the idea of a massive regulator that I put together and it being full proof for the rest of my life if I keep it haha

Also if the needle valve is a worry for you just pick up a fabco nv-55 for I think like $30 really precise and won't change flow on you, will also match the rest of the brass really well

Just seen aquateks on sale for $64 free ship not bad

Yeah aquateks are worth it just add a new nv cause it will serve you better, otherwise a good starter would be Matheson model 8. There are several that will work but I'd just keep it simple and get the aquatek, if you are adamant about buildig a nuke proof rig check out oldpunks sticky in this section
