Anybody want to buy any plants?

We've started several outdoor basins for plant production and have done pretty well at getting things to grow. We plan on expanding this soon after we get into our house (hopefully getting some more difficult/rare plants).

Anyways, we may not have too much right now but we should have enough to meet local demand shortly.

So here is what we're working on:

Luwidgia Repens (submerged and emmersed)
Riccia Flutens (rocked and loose)
Rotala Rotundifolia (submerged and emmersed)
Bacopa Caroliniana (submerged and emmersed)
Limnophila Aromatica (submerged and emmersed)
Pennywort (submerged and emmersed)
Myrio Filigree (submerged)
Hygrophila Polysperma (submerged)
Anubias Nana (rocked)
Vallisneria Americana
Hygrophila Compact (submerged)
Mayaca Fluviatilis (submerged)
Crypt Wendtii var Red
Crypt Lutea

I'll post some pics later on today of the production plots, I just want to use the sunlight to get better pics.

Alright guys, here are the last of the pics (for now).

The first two pics are of the submerged plant basin.

The last two pics are of another emmersed plot and emmersed ludwigia repens.

Might want to double check because i think Hygrophila polysperma is illegal to own, trade, or sell in Texas.

EDIT: Checked for own edification; it's on the Federal Noxious Weeds list. You might want to make this one disappear, aye?

Although Hygro Polysperma is on the Federal Noxious Weed List, it is not a prohibited species in the state of Texas. I don't think its illegal to possess or sell within the state of Texas, but interstate commerce would be federally regulated and thus it would be illegal to sell, exchange, or transport across state lines without the appropriate permit.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's right, not regulated within the state just no interstate transport. IMO, it should be on the state prohibited list though, and likely will be in the near future. It's a nasty plant when it escapes, and has spread pretty rapidly in just a few years.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday. : )

Since the ludwigia repens has taken off with emersed growth, I decided to start another small basin.

So far, we have 4 basins going as well as the 3 tanks and pond for production. The fastest growers are l. repens, r. rotundifolia, and b. caroliniana.

Also, when I first posted, I was still struggling trying to get limnophila aromatica to produce emersed growth. It seemed like it just kept withering. This might have lead me to believe that full sun is not conducive to the switch, but it finally happened (the recent humid weather might have played a large role). The l. aromatica has finally produced some emersed growth so hopefully it will begin to take off.

Enjoy the pics everyone : )

~ Adam

Well, we don't have a ton available (except for tapegrass) but we do have a decent selection of species.

So now for the stock/price list:

Myrio Filigree - 3 Bunches @ $2.50 each (3-4 stems per bunch)

Limnophila Aromatica - 1 Bunch @ $3.00 each (3 stems)

Bacopa Caroliniana - 1 Bunch @ $2.50 each (4 stems)

Rotala Rotundifolia - 2 Bunches @$2.00 each (3-6 stems per bunch)

Ludwigia Repens - 3 Bunches @$2.50 each (3 stems per bunch)

Hydrocotyle sp. (umbellata or verticillata) - 4 Runners (3-6 plants per runner)

Vallisneria Spiralis - 20+ Runner @ $.50 each (1-4 plants per runner)

Cryptocryne Pontederiifolia - 1 Plant @ $3.00

Over the next few weeks, we should have plenty more stem plants. I am currently working on some rocked riccia flutens and trying to get mayaca fluviatillis.

Hey everyone,

We are happy to say we have some new stuff up for sale. We lost quite a bit of hygro polysperma to a cladophora outbreak but I've managed to salvage a few. The first several batches are spoken for but they grow like weeds so it will be no time before we have some more. Anyways, just thought I'd post a list of what we have available and a few pics.

~ Adam

Echinodorus argentinensis - 2x (potted) $5.00 each
Valisneria Spiralis - 4x (loose) $2.00, 2X (potted) $3.00
Rotala Rotundifolia - 5x (bunched) $2.50
Bacopa Caroliniana - 1x (bunched) $3.00
Ludwigia Repens - 6x (bunched) $3.00
Mayaca Fluviatilis - 3x (bunched) $4.00
Myrio Filigree - 3x (bunched) $3.00
Pennywort - Hydrocotyle sp. - 2x (loose) $2.00

Shipping is available, just ask
