Anyone Using Ecoxotic Stunner LED Strips or Truelumen Pro LED Strips?
Is anyone using Ecoxotic Stunner LED Strips or Truelumen Pro LED Strips exclusively to light a planted tank? I would like to do the same if I can find someone who has had success using either of those without other lighting.

I have a 100g I am cycling right now with two 48" 8K white Stunner lights. Right now I only have one plant in it, the rest are on order, (here on Friday) but the light looks plenty bright, only time will tell. I will post in a few weeks when the plants have had a chance to get going, and try to include some pics.

I don't have Ecoxotic Stunners on a freshwater tank, but do have 4 of them and 2 Panorama Pros on a 29 gallon reef. The Stunners aren't very powerful at all. Especially if you have very much depth. A Panorama Pro is about as powerful as 4 of the Stunners and has better depth penetration. Also, the warmest light made in the Stunners is 8000K. They make a freshwater Panorama Pro that is 6500K plus a few 453 blues to help make some colors pop. Depending on the size of your tank you could use one or more of them. I would recommend getting the dimmers with them though. On my nano reef, I run the Stunners at full, but only run the Panoramas at 75-80%. Right now, I'm running 2 T5 NO's and a Marineland Double Bright and like the look, but I'm considering building a light with 2 of the freshwater Panormas dimmed some and a Magenta Stunner to warm it up a little for my 34 gallon.
