My 20L

First off I am embarassed posting pics of this tank with all the nice tank on this forum. But, you can't learn if you don't try.

Here is my first venture into a planted tank. Just set it up today and know I will have a ton of questions. I am drystarting it so will see what happens. I am moving in 3 to 4 months so will be a DSM for that period.

Tank: Aqueon 20 gallon long
Lights: Zoo Med T5HO with 1-6500K 1-10,000k
Substrate: Miracle Grow (orange bag with a sand cap)
Filtration: Not worried yet

2 Crypt Parva plants

1 microsword plant

As of right now no sand cap and no hardscape. I have driftwood in a plastic tank to leech out any tannins. I don't have the sand cap on in case I change the plants around.

Question on the microsword and parva. Can I seperate them and plant as an individual piece?
