Drift wood and rocks - Miami area

do you guys know of a good place in Miami (i am willing to drive) where i can buy or collect drift wood and rocks for an 80 gallon planted tank. Your help is highly apreciated

try the planted aquarium in Wilton manors or allfish emporium. Both have rocks and driftwood. Sorry on my iPad or else I would post links

Thank you I have been to the Planted Aquarium and while i love the store they are a bit short on the size of rocks and driftwood i am looking for, I will visit all fish this week.

Thank you Airbagged (by the way i have 64 caddy on bags), where do you mean, on the 20 mile streach or the 120 miles worth of us1 road down to key west? I am sure some of those mangrove covered areas and little beaches will have some drif wood. i will keep you folks posted

Hello! I'm also looking to get some very small rocks and driftwood for my 6.6 gal. Maybe if it doesn't rain this weekend we can go on a hunt? My car isn't bagged but it IS a 69 Roadrunner convertible

i should have mentioned i have not spent much time, there is lots of driftwood, however i am looking into the lagality of collecting it. since some of it still attached to the dead tree

the planted aquarium store has driftwood at 19.99 a pound. I found a piece there today I really liked and it would have cost 85 bucks... i got deep pockets but not that deep

i am thinking about ordering a whole bunch from overseas and just selling it a bit above my cost to cover my time and to be able to write it off, i gave up on collecting wood in miami, where i found nice wood, its iligal to collect. Stay tuned

There's no state law regarding collection of driftwood, if there's any regulation it's city ordinances or park rules. Where did they prohibit driftwood collecting?

it happens to be a protected habitat because of the North American Crocodille. the other area i have happens to be in the everglades national park. Both protected!
