Bolivian Ram content inside.

I will add pictures of my Bolivians and some of their tank mates here... Just wanted to get it started with a pretty good picture of the "man of the tank"

More to come!

so this is one male and a number of females, bolivian rams live in "harems" as opposed to pairs, like GBRs?

Nice-looking male you've got there. Can you fully sex all of them yet?

I am sure, I just need to sell some of the males, I am sure there is alot of "tension" and I have seen him picking stuff up for the new female.. so maybe soon!.. I was told it was 2m/4f

But it was 4m/2f so I got an addition female the other day that was their size, and am just waiting for people to buy some males, so I can get a safer ratio.

They all look great! I agree, as they get older, the colors will probably become mush more vivid.

Was gonna say something about those little guys. The story is quite long. lol Here it goes.

I found them living off of the bottom of a tank I tore down several months PRIOR!!! I Honestly had no clue the parents had spawned before I had sold them all. So I put them in a 10 gallon, some died, I fed them when I remembered, since I figured they wouldn't make it from all of the stuff they had been put through already(mean I know.. )

I stopped feeding that tank because I saw NO signs of life for quiet a few weeks. Anyways... They SOMEHOW managed to survive off of driftwood for about 2-3 months.

I was going to tear the tank down and use it as a breeding tank for my new venture here with the Bolivians, and I found these little guys swimming around! I feel SO BAD! But they are still here, and VERY colorful for their size, they ARE about 6-8 months old, but they are only about .5-.75" big.

The tension is the fun part i love watching then square off... but if you have too many.. then that will lead to issues of territory size
