rare mosses or HC

does anyone know of any LFS that carry HC or any of the unconventional mosses? looking for weeping, erect , willow, or maybe even fissidens.

Ive searched and searched and have found none so far. I might have to start supplying some of the stores with moss myself.

What part of NJ are you in.

The truth is I havn't really looked for either of those in my area (yet, soon setting up low-tech nano with moss).

i live in jersey city...surprisingly, the tap water here is quite clean.

OK, I work in J.C., but live up in Passiac (almost liquid rock).

You might want to check out the NY board. There are a couple of places in manhattan that get good write ups.

If you find one, let me know.

Absolutely Fish in Clifton had some moss last time I was there. I would think that your best option would be to order online from aquabid or this site.

JC tap is Boonton Res. water - Rockaway River water treated and piped down. Should be somewhat softer then much of the North NJ's well drawn.

I'm in RI so if you're worried about shipping mosses in the weather now I wouldn't...

I've got "rare" mosses, If you're interested drop me a pm.

Good luck finding them at good fish stores, its really a hit or miss I've found.
