Hi! It is light stuff, my bolivians kept pulling the stuff out when I first planted it! I read that you break it up into 8-12 smaller parts. That way its not so dense. To dense and it'll grow algae. If your trying to get it to carpet just spread out all the parts you broke it into in the area you want to cover! Make sure to get it int the gravel nice and tight so it doesn't uproot! A pair of tweezers works very well for plants this small! I also remember reading it needs high light to grow out low. I have a 55 gallon with 2wpg and its slow to carpet out.
