betta eating plants

Last Night i observed my Betta stalking duckweed as or floats around the top of my tank. To my surprise he ended up eating it. Will this harm my betta?

My Congo tetras like to eat the floating Salvinia minima I have in my tanks. Never any ill effects observed - I'm sure it's good for them.

As a rule of thumb, animals are pretty good at knowing what they should eat and what they shouldn't.

It will not harm your betta, even probably healthier than most foods out there.
