What did the inscription at the bottom of the "tomb" say in #3?

just looked at the pic on my phone and zoomed in. the moss is covering up the letters before the "B" or "E" hard to tell, but it reads (E-B)STO PERPETUAL. Latin for something

Hmmmm. Interesting spot for a crypt and sealed up like that.
I have two kids going to school in Philly at the same time (Yes, money's an issue), and drive past Fairmount pretty often over the course of the year. I may have to make a side-trip or two when they go back in the fall instead of whizzing past. |

We see those salamanders all the time in the early spring in our part of Pa.
But my all time favorite is the Red Eft: http://srelherp.uga.edu/salamanders/notvir.htm I don't throw the term "cute" around often, but when I find the little ones that are about an inch long, it just fits. |

Yeah they're cool looking I wish I had found one of them. And that wasn't a crypt lol. would be pretty creepy if it was in the middle of a hiking trail. There was a history plaque next to it that said it used to be a natural spring and spot to get drinking water. water filtered naturally down through the rocks and collected there. Was built in the 1800's and sealed up in the early 1950's because the water became too polluted to drink....figures
