One of the Red Cherry Shrimps that I just received is berried.
Hoping that everything goes well... is there any way to tell how long she might've been carrying?
Is there a physical difference between the first week, or the final week before birthing? |

if you cut the shrimp open and count the rings inside the head just behind the whiskers, you can tell how long shes been carrying that particular set of eggs, 1 ring for each day

It varies by breed but the eggs tend to develop little eyeballs in later stages.
