Yes, its a dwarf hairgrass. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your new tank. Do you have any other plans for it? Shrimp? Fish?

thank you very much.
I am at the stage of choosing a type of fish for it. I guess i will be going for a small type fish which swim together... And if i can be successful with the dwarf hairgrass i am considering about 2 or 3 types of plants too... I saw a plant here in the market but i dont know its name so i do a search on the site and i found similar plants but im not sure... I think theres some more research to do waiting for me |

I see you used CalAqua soil. What is the media in the filter bags?

Under an improved lighting you can see some of the trimmed pieces of grass and bubbles from my built in wet-dry filter.
And you can notice my dirty glass tank ![]()

Alright. I dont want to open new topic and get the forum 'dirty' so i will ask away from here...
i was spending some time searching and reading on the forum (in working hours while my boss is out :p) and i just realized that my water temperature might be high. Like theres no way to get it under 30 Celcius. And when weather is hot outside and if i am not home to turn air conditioner on temperature of water pushes up to 40C at noon time. any comments from experienced planters about this matter? |

Looks amazing! I might suggest having something more on the left side of the tank. It looks a little empty compared to the rest. Also you should look into having a couple of bigger fish in there to fill the water up some more. I suggest cichlids.

I like the river rock/large pebble mix, dont see that too much on here, and it looks good.
