Krylon fusion spray paint. Flat black is best IMO.

yes it does, or at least it seems to for me..but you can easily hold it down with an old heater clip or something along those lines..

Krylon specifically. It bonds to PVC much better than most other brands. If you let it dry for a few hours, the paint will be very hard to remove unless you do some serious scraping.

Ditto the above: Krylon makes a good range of spray paint colors for plastic.
Lightly sand the PVC, just enough to take the gloss off.
Spray several very light coats. Check the label for optimum dry time between coats.

I've been able to find it at both The Home Depot and Ace Hardware. Most home improvement stores should carry it.

I've used both regular flat black and krylon, both work well but I let mine dry for several days and add several coats to the pvc, it scratches off easily.

Sounds good, Guess I am stopping at one of these places on the way home from work then. I appreciate it!
So, since we have one that says it chips easily (like most spray paint) is there any other decent paint out there without going down to a boating store and getting some of their specialty aqhttp://www.plantedtank.net/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1865088uatic paint??? even though the spray paint method sounds like a plan for now anyways..

I sprayed the PVC with several thin coats, with drying time between coats.
Even my Pleco has not scraped his way through that paint. (I have heard of Plecos eating their way through colored concrete when used for DIY backgrounds)

Any flat black spray can works fine and it looks like your spraybar turned out nice, never go to the marina boat store, most of there paints contain copper and algaecide to keep algae and barnacles from sticking to the bottom of your boat.
