60f in the making.
Aloha guys,
I just picked up a 60f on my break(thanks to a friend) and will pick up some Amazonia soil. Not to sure on how I wanna scape it yet, and will begin to start after my 60p(another setup) is done dry starting. As for equipment, I was thinking a 2213 running on the 60f, will it give enought flow. Also its about 7inch high, can I run any style lily pipe and intake or suggestion on what pipes would fit the 60f? Excited to get this setup! ![]()

Just a little update, picked up a(almost new) Eheim 2213 for $30 with no media.
Would that be a good enought flow rate for my 60f? |

Obsessed? Maybe

Flow should be just right for that tank. You can even create a custom spray bar with ease and little cost. Or use lily pipes.
Can't wait to see how this turns out! So, hurry up for all of us impatient types.

Looking forward to another 60F. I want one of these tanks really bad but don't have the means, the space, etc. Plus I want to upgrade my bigger tanks. Filter was a good choice, and awesome price.

I just love the shallow look of it.
Originally I was gonna go with another 60p that I wanted to pick up. Someone on Craigslist had one posted. And called that I was interested. Later that day, a friend that works at a LFS said they had 60f in stock, and I just needed too have one. I replied back to the person and she told me she ha already sold the 60p but had a Eheim 2213 (in like new condition) an said if I was interests she'd sell it I me for 30 but was gonna post on Craigslist for 40. So I hurried up an met her. So far all I got is a jalli a18 which was given to me(not to sure if I can get it to grow hc) and the 2213 ![]() Monday I will be building a stand. This will be a slow process tank journal, but will update randomly lol. Thanks everyone. I'm excited to get this going! |

Can someone direct me into what lily pipes would be perfect?
I notice with my glass intake from another tank, it sticks well over the rim. Does anyone here make acrylic lily pipes and intake? |

I know I've been slacking but I'm almost there lol
It was "mail time" for me today. And after 4 days I received my Cal Aqua fluxus set, and my finnex ray 2 24" dd leds ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Excited!! I will build a DIY hanging light tho, only cause the led rest so close so will raise about 18" off soil. I already have my hc. ![]() And waiting for soil to come in hopefully by Friday. Also waiting on rock. I hope to setup and starting running this this weekend but if not then I hope you all patiently wait with me lol. So back in the boxes, until soil arrives

After recieving my things in the mail, I did a little prototyping on my finnex ray, with some "15lbs fishing lines" just to see how it would turn out. I kinda liked that floating look lol.
After work i will stop by lowes, to see why I can find to make a hanging kit. Here's a pic of it hanging
