GWAPA/ACLC Joint Meeting at That Fish Place

GWAPA and the Aquarium Club of Lancaster County will hold a joint meeting this Saturday, May 19 at 1:00pm, at That Fish Place in Lancaster, PA. Aaron Talbot will speak on the topic of "Fertilization in the Planted Aquarium," covering both beginner and advanced methods. The meeting will conclude with our usual auction, and with two clubs participating, there should be quite the variety of plants, fish, and other items available. If that's not enough to tempt you, there are the offerings at That Fish Place! We had a great time with the folks in ACLC at our last joint meeting, and this one promises to be even better.

I have tried a couple of times to post on the GWAPA forum with no luck, so anyway, I am the HAP chair for the ACLC, and the main plant guy in the club, I wont have a ton of stuff to bring with me for the meeting as I am converting alot of my growth over to emersed for the summer

I would love a little of the super red ludwigia that has been going around, and esp have been looking for hygro pinnatifida, I have some Elantine Triandra to trade if anyone from your club would be interested, I also have some E Triandra I just switched over to emersed that has some new growth and should be stable enough to bring if someone would prefer..

also if anyone in your club would be interested in selling a random plant pack of emersed growth I would definately be interested....

Hi Mike,

I'll let people on the GWAPA forum know what you're looking for. I don't know if anyone has the ludwigia, but the Hygro pinnatifida is very plentiful in the club.

I received an email from Jen from GWAPA, I have a nice portion set aside for her, along with another portion for trade or to go in auction

I will be bringing 2 pots where I started emersed growth with the Elatine, these will be auctioned or for trade as well
