First real attempt at aquascaping: 7.5g treescape


I just did this yesterday and got some photos today. I probably should have been asking for opinions before planting it and filling it up, but I guess I jumped the gun a bit. Don't mind the glass gems. They're the only thing I could think of to hold down the HC. IT's kind of hard to see the rocks at this point because they're almost the exact color of the flourite, but there are flat ones in the front right and left corners.

It looks good man, can't wait to see it when it's all grown it. I like these treescapes.

Thanks, although technically not a "man." lol

I was lucky enough to find a good deal on a bunch of HC on the SnS so that part doesn't have far to go. I'm excited about the tree though. Hopefully it turns out as well as some of the ones I've seen on here.
