I'm about to set up my DIY co2. I'm using a 2 liter, and then can I just use a regular pop bottle as the seperator?

Anyone know the best way to fit the co2 tubing into the intake of my aquaclear filter? Can I just cut off the small tip of the intake so the tubing fits?

Here's an update.
DIY Co2 was a huge fail, so I'm setting up my new co2 system tomorrow, anyone got a link on how to set up the whole paintball system?

Heres the tank today after a big 2nd order of plants came in yesterday. Almost my whole first order of plants died and are now thrown out. (Didiplis diandra, bacopa carolina, pearl grass.)

It looks kind of bad right now, i just threw everything in their yesterday, need to go back and place everything where I want it...

Another question, how do I trim the golden Lysimachia Nummularia? Just cut it off at any height?
