I'm a fellow montrealer, but i'm on here looking for plants, as the selection i've found in LFS's to be unsatisfactory.
I may have some Kribensis babies to give away in a couple months. |

I have been to Aquatica before, I love that place. It's unfortunately very far for me though. I will have to visit Aqua tropicale. Merci beaucoup

I just moved to Verdun and there's an awesome little store down on Wellington, between Wilibrord and 1re Avenue. It's called "Terre et Mer" and specializes in fish and reptiles. Most of the equipment is a bit overpriced, but they have a decent selection of plants and fish at decent prices and told me they can sometimes make special orders if you've got something you're really looking for. The 2 owners are also really cool guys and the employees generally seem to care and were honest enough to tell me when they didn't know something. That said, Francis (one of the owners) is super knowledgeable about plants and the co-owner (whose name I can never remember no matter how hard I try) is a reef specialist.
As for clippings, I unfortunately have none because I just finished setting my tanks up after my move, but I might have some dwarf sag looking for a new home in a month or so, depending how things go. I'll be sure to keep you folks here posted. |

Aquarius Web on Jean-Talon. I've managed to cobble together from :
Twit Palace in Boucherville Home Depot Amazon.com and Aquarius Web. Just planted two days ago. Should've capped the soil better! And on that note a few Carolina Fanwort clippings to go, should they not be planted soon. |

Indeed Aquarius on Jean Talon have always several plants in stock. However, few small plants like HC, glosso ..etc. Regarding the equipments like Co2 systems, lily pipes and other glass elements, aquascaping tools....they have nothing. So I am still looking for a good shop for aquascaping in the Montreal Area.

M. F, I know of a homebrewing place where you can find CO2
Le Choppe à Baroque, on St-Dominique and Villeneuve, I think. |

Liquid Canada or whatever it's called sells 5 pounders but at an expensive rate... A refill is 45$ where as at guard x it's 21$... Brand new tank I don't really know how much it costs... But like usual Canada, Quebec actually is expensive -_- Oh and praxxair there's a long wait on refills :/ |
