I would be interested in coming. For work I have been playing with planted tanks off and on for many years but not seriously until now. I just now got into it big time with a 700 gallon planted rainbowfish tank.

I haven't sent the PM yet but here is a pic of my tank in the mean time. sorry for the algae making it kinda fuzzy, I've had a couple issues come up recently that i'm trying to sort out right now.

Looks awesome man! Yeah I feel you on the algae thing. It's hard to get everything at the right levels because it seems like then you get one thing going good another happens.... what is that pinkish sort of plant in the middle? and the grassy stuff in the front?

I work at the Albuquerque Aquarium and I just finished redoing our Rainbowfish tank at the Australian exhibit.

Sorry it took a while to get back to you, I was out of town.

The grassy stuff is Dwarf Sag and the Pinkish/red plant in the middle is Persicaria 'Kawagoeanum'. Its an awesome plant and grows really fast. I'll take some orders if anyone is interested.

I'd definitely take some of the pink stuff. I would have to look at the DS to see if it would work with my tank. lol I have a pretty nice carpet of dwarf hair grass coming in. Its taken about two months but it's really starting to fill in now.

I would love to work at the aquarium doing stuff with the tanks there or anything really. haha

Oh, completely free! I have so much of this stuff just growing like crazy! It's really nice quality, though, so I don't really want to compost it! I'll bring you a big baggie full!

I can probably give you guys a few stem for right now. I just removed all the emersed growth from it so i'm letting it grow. I'll bring as much as i can and we can divide it there. Can't guarantee it'll be much though.
