hmm i dunno bout that. i saw a recipe online where someone ground up eggshells and cuttlebone into a powder so that it dissolves easier in the tank. if i could ever find that link, ill post it.

i like cutle bone for birds and best part is you can break parts off and just add a bit at a time and it last for a while and its all natural

I've been told some folks use ground up cuttle bone. I use old sea mud as it has more than calcium in it.

If you're really super-concerned, try the snail jello recipe I discuss in this thread.

Folks are really over-thinking this, though.

Well, I appreciate the advice. I'm watching my lil guys. Also, I wasn't sure what borneowild or other supplements might help too.

They could certainly help. But for Neos (and most others), it's easy to provide proper nutrition without a ton of effort or fancy extras.

If you need to dose Ca just use plaster of paris (CaSO4), it dissolves fast and will only raise GH. If you want food try repashy shrimp souffle, all my shrimp and otos eat it readily.

Can you have to much cutle bone in the water? will it create harm to shrimp like OEBT's, CBS, PFR, yellow neo, and Blue Bee's?
