hi all, thought id post some photos on my rescape and comments and constructive criticism welcome

48x12x15 aquarium
DIY aquarium good
2x24w 10000k T5HO bulbs
Hagen Glo Ballast
200W heater
All pond solutions 800l/ph filter
2mm black gravel and kiln dried sand substrate
red reptile bulb and fitting for night viewing

Fauna
guppies
mollies
platies
goldfish
golden sucking loach
opaline gourami
golden gourami
kissing gourami
bristlenose catfish
white cloud mountain minnows
malaysian trumpet snails

Flora
various including vallis, twisted vallis, swords, rotalas, bacopa, crypts

I like the scape a lot, the tank looks very good

I also like the night light - interesting color (more used to blue) but reminds me of a sunset somewhat. Looks really cool

thanks its just a reptile bulb really was tired of turning the t5s off after 8 hours and then nt seeing my fish i quite like the red i was also going to buy a purple one to try but nt got round to it yet

Love the scape, I think the goldfish could do some serious damage to the plants. There might also be conflicts between the goldfish's need and the rest of the fish temperature wise.

thanks the only plants they damage are the salvinia floating plants and goldfish can function fine in higher temperatures i did a cypirind fish farming course at college and we were growing them in water set to 27 degrees c with no ill effects i keep mine at 25 the natural environment of the goldfish is of a highish temp i observe equal if not better health and colour in heated environment vs temperate and also increases metablosim appetite and activity levels
