Apparently they're starting to stock stuff like this...I was tempted but I don't have the room.

That's awesome. I grabbed two from Petco a while back when they randomly had them for 6 bucks each.

It's been on sale for about a week now... if you use your receipt and do the survey there's a $3off coupon which makes the roselines $.59

Is that 3$ off EACH roseline? Or just 3$ off your total?

When does the sale end?

Roselines and blue rams are a permanent part of the lineup now. They used to be a special buy fish that would rotate out every three months for new types, but others from that line are now also permanently available. I believe the sale lasts for a while, but I need to double check the next time I work. Also unfortunately the $3 surveys pop out randomly on receipts so there is a chance you might not get one.

I saw some in my local petsmart recently for about 8 bucks or so. I have one now that I paid 22 bucks for and have been wanting to get 4 more or so.... However the petsmart ones didn't look healthy. Maybe they were new arrivals and stressed from shipping but I plan to keep my eye out when I go there to hopefully score a few that look good.

Generally the fish at my Petsmart and Petco aren't all that healthy. But the quality of fish varies from store to store.

For the price in comparison to your average LFS I think it would be worth buying and housing them in a QT till healthy.
