algae waffers and ADF's

is it ok if a ADF eats a algae waffers? will it kill it?

Why is this in the invertebrate forum? But to answer your question, I wouldn't worry most "algae" wafers are actually just processed fish parts that bottom dwellers prefer to eat. So it is pretty close to the frog's natural diet. I'm not sure how their digestive system works but I'm sure it can break it down. Just watch out for weight loss.

Mine sample everything that goes into their tank. They are many years old and breed regularily. I have L134s and a clown pleco with them, so they have access to algae wafers as well. I saw them try the algae wafers before too. Has not caused them any harm yet. They will know what is good for them. As long as you feed them their bloodworms, they will be ok.

ok ty my friend was tripping her frog ate some of the algae waffer and she thought he was gonna die well i didn't know where this was gonna go so i posted here.

I wouldn't make the bulk of it's diet algae wafers, but there's no real harm in it eating some. As long as the staple of it's diet is something meaty/protein like bloodworms.

ya she puts frozen blood worms in and blood heart . but that was the first time she saw a frog eat some of the algae waffer. i told her when i had my other tank i had frogs that ate some of the algae waffer and they were fine.
