Been in that RS many times. Blue Grass's hours stink though. They go by another name for the store IIRC.

Cool! I didn't know BlueGrass had a store front? I thought it was just the website. When I went to the warehouse to pickup my order it def didn't have any retail stuff there, just a big barn full of tanks.

And everyone likes pizza suprema! I sold all the delivery staff their GPS's last year lol

Thought it was them. Could be wrong. Memory ain't what it was.

Thing is with PS it's inconsistent at times. I've known Joe since the first day he opened up there. His dad was a great cook. Always experimenting with things and giving away tastes. Of course now his brother is there and his nephew. Nice family.
Use to get stuff there way too often though. I'd call up and he wouldn't have to ask what I wanted. Now that's bad.

i waited around 4 hours actually. i had old filter catridges and the wood was in my tank b4 i redid it. and the clay i used was the wet clay not the dried clumps, i used one full bag of the miracle gro, and one full bag of dlack diamond, gace me roughly 3/4inch cap everywhere, was just fine water was crystal clear in about 24 hours.

if u wanna speed up the whole thing either feed the fish that arent there to get some bacteria goin, theres also liquid starters, and what i did was got 2 giant danio pretty hardy fish for starters

also with dirt tanks there may be a pretty bad algae bloom, cuz of the excessive amount of nutrients in the water, my advice load up on duckweed.

I live in South Tampa and primarily shop at Marine Warehouse. Their plant selection varies. Majority of the time it's pretty well stocked. I know if they don't have something there they can get it pretty quick as one of their suppliers is only a few miles away from them.

I didn't think that aquaticplantdepot.com sells directly to the public?
Yep, they do! Except, when not on the internet, they are called Everglades Nursery. Located by the Vandenberg Airport, over by the Hard Rock Casino. The only problem with them, in my experience, is that the hours they ARE open to the public are limited. It's best to call them ahead of time and schedule an "appointment" to come out. But the plants are SOOO cheap when you get them there! Cheaper than the prices you pay for their mailorder!
This is the one I was thinking of. Back in the "Tampa" fish store thread.
