water current for E series heater

I bought a fluval E series for my 29 awhile back and having issues with proper water circulation. I'm limited on location of heater placement and would like to conceal it but I keep getting the LF flash and sometimes it will turn red even with the lights out. I'm only running a dual T5 NO strip. My filter is an older marineland 330 hob. i'd like to put the worlds smallest power head or similar in the tank to increase water circulation around the heater. Any suggestions ?

They do like to blink if there's not enough circulation to make them happy. I have one also. I would think the powerhead would do the trick. Just set it close by so the heater gets some water movement. On a positive note, if there's not enough circulation in that area to satisfy the heater your whole tank will probably benefit from an increase in water movement.

I remember that with my HOB filter and fluval e series. At the time I thought my setup was fine but now that I know more I realize the tank really was underfiltered. So listen to the heater, increase flow.

What is the smallest/easiest to conceal pump or powerhead on the market ?
I don't like a lot of "equipment" showing, like most folks I'm sure. I oughta just get a canister filter and forget about it.

I'd just up the flow of your filter, if you're worried about flow and don't want clutter.
