Turtle land/water setup with plants

Need some ideas creating a 75g setup for my male read eared slider (maxing out at 7").

want a basking land area with plants and a planted water area. What plants will work that he wont eat?

I will leave giant duckweed for him to munch on. Please give links or pics of your setups!

I think that plants on a basking area will get chewed up and trampled.

Riparium plants could work well for the water portion. Here's a riparium setup that somebody did a while back for a musk turtle.

I don't have any land area plants for my sliders but they do eat everything else then can reach in and out of the water. I have some rip plants from the man above and they munch on them when the water level gets a little high.
I have yet to find something they don't like.

They dont eat java moss because its too bitter, I think on ATP they have a list of "safe" plants

I have seen some pretty nice DIY turtle basking areas that were various kinds of sloping plastic pieces formed together and sometimes with astro turf or other material for more texture.
