well, last night was a bust, I went to move the aquarium into the house and realized that I needed to put another coat of paint on the back.... So I'm crossing my fingers that I got good coverage this time, mostly because I ran out of paint Anyways, I am slowly inching towards getting this thing set up and I'm getting REALLY excited!

That's why i started using black contact paper. $6/roll and only one application. And best of all, no fumes or mess. I also use a rubberized, spray on seam sealer i "appropriated" from a gm dealership.

Yeah, I wish the fumes were my only problem. and most of the mess ended up my nose. I never knew I could blow my nose and it would come out BLACK.... what a day. The second day I wore gloves and a bandana over my face lol.

My help that was supposed to come tonight didnt show up, so I've got to put it off yet another day. I'm very sad.

Had to build a new stand but the tank is in and filling up now. The gouramis are in it since I had to break down the 10 gallon to put in the 55. Need to add more sand tomorrow after all the dirt settles.

The long light is a 30" odyessa 96 watt t5ho strip. 4 6500k bulbs. Then the other two are 10 watt 6500k bulbs. Hopefully to upgrade to a 48" odyessa 4 bulb setup very soon.

I have a ton more plants I can put in but I'm not sure if I really want to add them. I think I like it how it is.

Both the stand and the tank look good. You're probably not going to need a 4 bulb fixture. I have a 2back bulb over my 55g and i normally only run 1 bulb.

I really liked the growth I got out of the 4 bulb fixture on my 38. I may just go with something from AH Supply. Not really sure yet. I'll make the decision once I get all of my extra plants and equipment sold :P

the Kulagoeanum is a gorgeous plant. if you ever have any you want to get rid of, let me know, might ever try to weasel some moss out of you as well.....lol if you have a wish list, let me know, maybe we can work out a trade. it would be easier for you to tell me what you're looking for instead of me listing all my plants. i have like 20 crypt species alone...lol
