Yea I hope they pull through. They are so cute and sweet. Even if they hide all day, they're still adorable. My sister used to have some in a 20 gallon and they would swim around a lot more with covered areas. She of course had fake plants all over the tank and some of those little bridges. Yes, she's one of "those" kind of fish keepers. But she had them for about 2 years. So I'm guessing they're hardy fish lol.

Probably the wrong thread but do you think the rapashy foods with the more constant food source would help with that issue or will the more boisterous fish still just eat it all. I have been thinking about giving that a try with my shrimp; my only concern is that I've heard over feeding shrimp can cause them to die. Do you still do the constant food source with them as well or just enough for them to eat in 3 hours? |

Obsessed? Maybe

I told everybody they were turkey-sized.
My latest dozen, which arrived a day early (this morning), aren't quite the size of turkeys like my last. More the size of chickens, thankfully. Great stuff, Rachel. Can't wait til I have a billion snail babies.

I hadn't taken them out yet, but even when I opened the box they were a nice blue color.

My new green shrimp sure like to live in the fast lane. They motor around. I stop. They swim more than fish IMO. Most shrimp tend to mosey. Not these guys. They lift their sails and just fly to the next plant or onto the other side of the tank. They're like lime green fairies.
![]() Bad pic, but that's them chilling and eating next to the fire yellows. -Val |
