DIY reactor and canister flow rate

I'm looking to build a rex reactor on my nano tank and was wondering if you think my canister flow rate would be ok? The canister is a sun sun 602B and has a max flow rate of 105 gph. I'm using it on a 5 gallon and it's really strong so i don't mind having a reduced flow. Would attaching a reactor work?

What size PVC should i use?

Most people use 2" pvc, it should slow down the flow a bit but not sure by how much. Adding a few angles should help slow things down a bit too so try to put 90 degree angles at the ends.
