Aquarium society in Athens GA

I'm in, but I hope you picked a meeting place with windows so me and the other lurkers around here can stand outside and watch.

I've been reading these forums for the last 12 months. I have 3 planted tanks running at the moment and I am negotiating with the finance committee for number 4!

I think a local group in Athens is a great idea and I would encourage others to join.

I say we kick this off this sunday with a road trip to the Atlanta Auction!

Unfortunately I can't go to the atl on Sunday. Wife kids and church arebthe order of the day. What weeknight might be good?

Any weeknight other than Tuesdays is good for me. Thursdays are the best night, and any time 6pm or later.

I've been lurking but I live close to downtown. I'd be interested - Fridays are probably best for me until the summer - I'm busy, but would love to be involved.

Congrats on the twins, Sugardaddy!!

I would love to see this get started. We aren't too far from Athens. Would much prefer to have a small group in Athens than drive to Atlanta.

Stopped in to Aquarium Outfitters on Tuesday. Daniel is still very receptive to supporting us in any way they can. Anyone up for a little group. Would love to have others to talk to and trade plants with.

I could probably attend, but my ability to organize etc is fairly limited these days. I can also still probably get meeting space where I work in downtown Athens if that helps. All the guys and gals at AO are awesome.

I would attend depending my schedule. Are you all thinking monthly or quarterly meetings? And by support does that mean we have a spot?

I'd be in depending on my schedule and what day the meet would fall on.

You guys have heard of the Atlanta Area Aquarium Association correct?

They meet once a month and have mini auctions at each meeting as well as speakers.
